Corrections

How to request a correction to FactorAtlas company data, source references, or educational content.

How to submit a correction

Send correction requests to contact@factoratlas.com. Include: (1) the full URL of the page containing the issue, (2) the specific sentence, data field, or figure at issue, and (3) the public source or official documentation that supports the requested change.

A qualifying source is an official company page, a government or regulatory publication, a recognized industry association resource, or a verifiable legal reference. Third-party review sites, press releases without primary data, and unverifiable claims are not accepted as correction sources.

What gets priority

Priority goes to corrections affecting company identity, source links, advance rate or fee statements, recourse descriptions, legal or regulatory context, and any content that could materially mislead a reader before signing a factoring agreement.

Lower priority applies to style or tone preferences, requests to add marketing language or unsupported claims, and changes to content that is already accurate but formatted differently than a requester prefers.

Company-initiated requests

If a factoring company requests an update to its profile, the same source standard applies: changes must be supported by a qualifying public source on the company's own website or official documentation. Unsupported marketing claims, projected or aspirational fee ranges, and claims not verifiable by a reader are not added as stated facts.

Companies may request removal of a profile. Removal requests are evaluated case by case. The site reserves the right to maintain factual profiles sourced from public information.

Response expectations

Correction requests are reviewed as editorial capacity allows. High-priority corrections affecting factual accuracy or reader safety are addressed as quickly as possible. Lower-priority requests may be addressed in batches during scheduled review cycles.

Not all requested changes will result in edits. The site will not apply changes that lack qualifying sources or that would reduce the factual accuracy of a page.
